I assisted author Scott H. Gloodt with editing his nonfiction book, I'll Take the 18: The Story of Beech 18 Freight Flying, published by BookBaby in 2018. This is an engaging piece that highlights the importance of the remarkable Beech 18 aircraft, both to local freight flying in the Midwest and to Scott’s life.

My work with Scott H. Gloodt focused on grammar, syntax, word choice, flow, and organization. In addition, I suggested that Scott include a glossary of specific flying terms, which I co-wrote and formatted. I also fact-checked and investigated potential copyright infringement.

Although I was not with the project for very long, I am proud of my contributions to this charming, well-written book. With Scott H. Gloodt’s kind permission, I can share some examples of my work on I'll Take the 18: The Story of Beech 18 Freight Flying.
